DAN THE MAN DIY ALL DAY!!! – Dan’s Daughters’ Containers presents how to make emergency wine bottle candles two ways. The first method is to just cut a length of 1/2″ fiberglass wick long enough to stick out of the bottle and curl at the bottom. Pull about 1/2″ -3/4″ of wick exposed past the lip of the bottle top. Make sure wick is primed wet from top to bottom. Light and enjoy. The next method involves one of the ceramic wine bottle tops I sell. You simply prime the wick while filling the bottle. Set the stopper into the wine bottle opening. Make sure the wick is thoroughly primed and wet from top to bottom before lighting. Store these under your sink with a bottle of fluid and you are ready for any emergency. Prime before lighting and you are set. Always have a fire extinguisher on hand too!
